Huntington is originally from Huntsville, Ontario, where she worked as a summer student for Mark A. Reid, Barrister & Solicitor, and served her articles with Carrie A. Campbell, Lawyer and Mediator.

Rebecca J. Huntington had the unique experience of studying law in Grand Cayman, in The Cayman Islands, at the University of Liverpool. As the fifth financial capital of the world, Grand Cayman provided an atmosphere to study law amidst some of the largest financial operations in the world, offering incomparable insight into international business, hedge fund management, trust fund management (and distribution) and the importance of work/life balance.

Huntington returned to Canada and was called to the bar in June of 2017, in Toronto, Ontario.
